Short version: watching and calling A or B needs no account. Calling in needs a mobile number and a first name. Your 45 seconds go on air and are deleted after two days. We sell nothing and share the minimum.
Watching and making a call
We do not know who you are. To keep it to one call per question, your browser gets an anonymous id from Firebase the first time you tap. It carries no name, number, or email.
Becoming a member
We hold your mobile number (in Firebase Authentication, to text you a code and recognise you), the name you chose, your calls and points, and the date you accepted the terms. The number is never shown, shared, or texted for anything else.
Calling in
Your recording goes to our storage and is public while it is up: it plays in the show and anyone with the link can hear it. It is turned into text by a speech service, the text and the host's reply are shown in the show with your name, and the host's reply is made into speech by a voice service. The recording and its text are deleted after two days.
Who else is involved
- Google Firebase: hosting, sign-in, database, storage.
- YouTube: a clip in a box plays from YouTube, with YouTube's own cookies rules, through the youtube-nocookie player.
- Anthropic: the host's replies are produced by Claude. It receives the text of your take and your first name, and the room's state. Not your number.
- ElevenLabs: turns your recording into text, and the host's text into speech. It receives the recording, not your name or number.
How long we keep things
Recordings and their text: two days. A question and its calls: a week after it closes. Your name, calls, and points: while you are a member. Reports: until handled, then a year.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly keep anything from anyone under 18.
Your choices
Ask us to delete your membership and everything with it: mahaexpocorp@gmail.com. Recordings go on their own after two days either way.
Changes
The date at the top tells you when this last changed.
